Principal
Must possess any Post-Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons
Must possess B.Ed., from NCTE / UGC recognized University
Must have at least three years of experience as PGT or JL in any Government / Government Aided schools
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
Must possess Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Masters Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons in the relevant subjects
Must possess B.Ed., or equivalent degree from NCTE / UGC recognized University with methodology in the concerned subject
Must have passed TET Paper II / APTET / CTET with Mathematics and Science or Social Studies as Optional
Contract Residential Teachers (CRT)
Must possess Graduation Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons in the relevant subjects
Must possess B.Ed., or equivalent degree from NCTE / UGC recognized University with methodology in the concerned subject
Must have passed TET Paper I / APTET / CTET with Mathematics and Science or Social Studies as Optional
Physical Education Teachers (PET)
Must possess Intermediate Certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education or equivalent certificate recognized by Board of Intermediate Education
Must possess Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed.) of one year duration course/ Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) from any recognized University / Institution.

The skill test and personality test will be conducted by a panel of experts appointed by the APCSE.
Final Selection and Posting
The final selection and posting of the candidates will be done based on the merit list, certificate verification, skill test and personality test. The candidates will be allotted to the KGBVs as per their preference and availability of vacancies. The selected candidates will have to join the duty within 10 days from the date of issue of appointment orders. The candidates will have to sign a contract agreement with the APCSE for a period of one academic year, which may be extended or terminated based on their performance and requirement.
